I outlined in that post how we might do this. Not so much per se as a concrete implementaton, but more as an example of what could be done. I am very much committed to keeping Squeak a living system. However, the Board does not make technology decisions on behalf of the Squeak community - we basically serve the community by trying to provide a support infrastructure. So all you can do is write blogposts like this and hope someone notices, or wait for some moment in time to come up where I can attack this problem along the path I proposed myself :) Well… I outlined in that post how we might do this.
