Plopp
Plopp is the name of a new product by Impara that is marketed as a 3D drawing toy for kids - it uses the “blow up” algorithm most Squeakers know.
Apart from the news that this is a boxed, commercial Squeak product (available in pre-order on Amazon.de, among others), it is a fun toy. Bert was so friendly to let me play with it after proving I pre-ordered my copy
, the result is on the accompanying image. Took me all of 5 minutes to create it.
The product is in German so for kids outside Germany, some patience is needed (if the product is a success, an English translation is likely), but for us playful adults, the software is easy enough to be used without the spoken help texts, and at 15 euros a steal.

Can you export your results into a standard Croquet environment?
Cheers

No, it hasn’t got anything to do with Croquet (apart from some code reuse) - it really is a stand-alone toy. You can mail the pictures, print them, or export your works of art as an image, that’s about it.

To bad there is no play-with-me demo of it available
