Like the FX-3, only difference I found that the metering is 
switched on by lighty pressing the release button, so the separate 
button is cancelled on this body. Btw: I use my left eye when taking 
pictures. The original light meter button is a nag (you poke yourself 
in the eye with your own thumb. The main reason why I walked away 
from several FX-3 offers and continued to search for a FX-3 Super or 
Super 2000 model.

more plastic, a.o. 'leather' covering replaced with plastic.
(new flash shoe / there's a LED flash status indicator in viewvinder 
(I'm not sure how this is on older FX-3 models)).
